Winter Should Never Be a Matter of Survival
Winter can be life-threatening for people experiencing homelessness. In 2025, more than 266,000 people in the U.S. were living unsheltered, facing freezing temperatures with little protection. Exposure to cold can lead to hypothermia—even in temperatures above 40°F. Our Winter Care Packages provide essential cold-weather supplies to help keep our neighbors warm, safe, and reminded that they are not forgotten.
